Engineering for Parking Shortage

Design/Build electrical engineering for the addition of a 332,279 square feet, six-level, 1,051-car parking structure to accommodate the large remodel and expansion of the Acute Care Pavilion at Rady Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House, occurring simultaneously. The parking structure was built to address a critical parking shortage, due to the large expansion of the Ronald McDonald House built atop the structure. The parking structure aesthetically complements both the existing parking structure and renovation of the Acute Care Pavilion while especially adhering to passive security systems and crime prevention.
