LEED Gold at Fort Bliss

Design/build electrical engineering services for a 143,090 sq ft Command and Control Facility (C2F) to accommodate division headquarters and command operations. The facility is intended to serve as the corporate headquarters/municipal administration facility and an emergency operations center for the civilian sector community.  Project includes an administrative area divided into specified security zones and operations area that includes special use space for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), Operations Center (OC), and Network Operations Center (NOC).  The scope included redundant mechanical and electrical systems with backup power for designated areas, secure vehicle parking, antenna pad, loading/service areas, information systems, fire protection and alarms systems, intrusion detection systems and energy monitoring control systems.  Features included sustainable design, Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 05) features and minimum antiterrorism features.  This facility was designed and built to LEED Gold standards.
