38,500 sq ft, 3-story operations facility; 9,950 sq ft, 2-story maintenance building.
The site consisted of nine deteriorating, temporary buildings that did not conform to fire and life safety codes. A new waterfront operations facility was needed to increase command efficiency and provide integrity for the unit's personnel.
The operations building included a medical exam room/office, computer room, executive offices, staff offices, washer/dryer room, TV lounge and an electronic technician's shop. The maintenance building included automotive and boat maintenance shops and a parachute survival shop.
