The hotel is part of a mixed-use development named Bridgeworks, which includes a spa, restaurants, shops, fitness center and beauty; the hotel captures the unique spirit of the San Diego's historic Gaslamp District. One hundred-year-old bricks were reused from the site's previous warehouse. Lighting designers created a mood of fantasy by placing fixtures at different levels, as though they are twinkling stars in a sky.
