Mechanical and electrical site utilities engineering for the construction of a new lightrail tunnel and underground station for the Metropolitan Transit Development Board on the SDSU campus.

The $451 million project included the development and design of underground chilled water service to the new station cooling systems, the development and design of two parallel and redundant 12kV utility services to the new station and tunnels, and communications infrastructure services to the new station including telephone, data, CATV and campus broadband fiber.

Design development of underground service utilities required extensive coordination with existing site utilities, SDSU Facilities personnel, SDSU Physical Plant personnel, Public Utilities companies and the project Civil Engineer.
