MEP engineering services for a conceptual design and clean energy study for the proposed central plant upgrade and infrastructure expansion at San Diego City College to support six (6) existing and four (4) future buildings.

The study will evaluate existing conditions, deficiencies, electrical and thermal load projections, clean energy opportunities, required central plant equipment upgrades, and expansion of the electrical and thermal distribution infrastructure.

Document will function as a scoping and planning document for the subsequent phase to develop bridging documents. The conceptual study will evaluate the feasibility of including an on-site energy generating system (i.e. fuel cells) to provide electrical power and thermal energy to anticipated base loads.
